Install Procedure<br />Excel<br /> world<span style="color:red;background-color:#fcc;"> delivery.</span><span style="font-weight:bold;color:green;background-color:#cfc;"> delivery ExcelSecondLife.zip.</span> Copy everything into a safe location. Quit any running copies of Excel, and copy the ExcelSecondLife.xlt template to C:Documents and Settings&amp;lt;user name&amp;gt;Application DataMicrosoftTemplates. Start Excel and make a new spreadsheet. You should be offered ExcelSecondLife.xlt as one of the template options. Quit Excel.<br />Second Life<br />Make a backup copy of all items given you in SL. The objects given you have full permissions. This includes permission to mess them up.<br />]]></description>

The Plan<br />Build an AMEE/Second Life mashup that augments virtual objects in Second Life with data about their real life carbon emissions, inspired by a conversation at Euro FOO 2006 where Gavin said that global warming would be a lot easier to fix if you could see carbon dioxide and Claus Dahl pointed out that SL was a great platform for prototyping augmented reality because every object has an ID: http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/02/20/augmented-virtual-reality<br /> AMEE<span style="color:red;background-color:#fcc;"> emission</span><span style="font-weight:bold;color:green;background-color:#cfc;">  emission</span> data and instead of just floating numbers over objects, it also would represent the data using different visualisation.
